The Number One Story is… MINNESOTA BOATING IS NUMBER ONE! Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc has been selected National Marina of the Year! This is the first time a Minnesota Marina has been awarded this title, and we couldn’t be more honored.

Thank you for the decades of serving our Minnesota boaters, Lake Minnetonka boating community, Spring Park friends, amazing crew, and colleagues. This is one big thank you from us to you for making us your boating home! We also want to thank Marina Dock Age Magazine for recognizing us with this award, and thank you for your hospitality this week. We are thrilled. Please share the good news of this post. There will be more to come to celebrate this honor and to celebrate boating in Minnesota! But for now… wow! OH… AND one more time, Happy 59th Wedding Anniversary Joyce and Jerry!

PS: What does this story have to do with National Marina Day? In June, when we explored the application process, Question #7 says, “Tell us about your National Marina Day Event”, honestly, it was the scariest hurdle of the entire application. But you’ve gotta face those fears head on!
