Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc. is an award-winning, full-service marina established in 1961. We are located on the south shore of West Arm of Lake Minnetonka in Spring Park, Minnesota. Our marina offers everything for every type of boater. Our services include Dockage, Dry Stack (In/Out Service), Boat Club, Pontoon Rentals, Winter Storage, Boat Repairs & Service, Boats for Sale, Ship's Store and Gas Dock.

Job Description

We would love to have you join our team of technicians as it's never a dull moment around the marina. Because our repair shop is the heart of our marina, the technicians we hire need to be willing to learn and use a variety of skills. We hire all abilities in our shop right up to factory-trained certified mechanics. Our marina hosts a spectrum of boats as our dry stack is for boats 16' to 23', and our wet slips run from 24' to 32' boats, however, our winter storage runs from PWCs to 42' twin engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Service boats and vessels (i.e. tune-ups, summarizing and winterizing engines)
• Driving and docking a variety of boats and vessels
• Boat cleaning (i.e. waxing, detailing)
• Yard maintenance (i.e. blocking boats, moving trailers)
• Operating forklifts and trucks (with trailers)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Practical experience with tools and equipment
• Detail-orientated with the ability to work independently
• Some computer skills are required
• Factory-trained certification is a bonus
• Forklift experience is a bonus
