Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Shift Supervisor to join our team at our beautiful Marina on Lake Minnetonka. This part-time, evening, and weekend role will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staff, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the marina. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise marina staff during evening and weekend shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Assign work duties and monitor employee performance, addressing any issues as they arise.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to marina guests, ensuring they have a positive experience during their visit.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with rentals, boat club, dry stack, wet slips, winter storage, repairs, and other marina services as needed.
• Respond to emergencies or incidents promptly, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
• Oversee the closing procedures of the marina, ensuring all tasks are completed for smooth transitions between shifts.
• Maintain clear communication with the Marina Manager, reporting any operational issues, staffing concerns, or guest feedback.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills are required.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, customer service, or marina operations preferred.
• Knowledge of boating, marina services, and waterfront safety is a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable handling conflict and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a boat and assist guests with boat-related tasks (training available if necessary).
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends, including holidays.
