Bachelorette Party on Lake Minnetonka

1.    The Best Restaurants
While out on the lake, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best food lakeside. Right near the marina you’ll find Lord Fletcher's which has been around for 50 years this year. They have different food and drink deals every day as well as live bands and three bars on the wharf including a bar inside. Heading east on Lake Minnetonka are two of the biggest communities on the lake, Excelsior and Wayzata. Heading south down to Excelsior, you’ll be able to enjoy any food you can imagine, as well as some of the best family run ice cream shops on the lake. In Excelsior, you’ll find Maynards, a bar similar to Lord Fletcher's.

2.    Party Islands
The main party island on Lake Minnetonka is the famous Big Island. You will find many boats tied up having a great time, complete with music and drinks!

3.    Boat Decorations and Gear
Many bachelorette parties that rent from our marina bring their own party decorations. We love to see our pontoons decorated for special occasions! Streamers, balloons, and matching shirts are all encouraged, as long as the colored decorations do not bleed into the carpet or seats after getting hot from the sun or wet from the lake. Inside the store, we sell Bachelorette Party Packs that include:

4.    The Essentials to Pack
To ensure a great day on the lake, we recommend packing coolers of snacks and drinks to enjoy on the water. Also, make sure to bring sunscreen, cover-ups, and any fun decorations you want to add for the party.

5.    Bring a Captain
Rockvam Boat Yards, Inc. does not provide drivers for your pontoon cruise. It is important you designate a sober driver out on the lake in order to stay safe and to make sure you don't receive a BUI (Boating Under the Influence).
